Developed an eCommerce site and suite of management tools. The site itself is standard ASP/ADO whereas the the administration tools use a combination of ASP, Windows Scripting Host, Microsoft Office, and TCP/IP socket-level communication. Site development included interface to shopping cart, credit card processing, and order tracking system.
Administration tools included custom Win32 Service to check for new orders via SMTP, and a corresponding system tray application to communicate with the service, Windows Scripting Host application to decrypt credit card numbers, and Microsoft Office controls to download order history and customer lists as Excel documents.
